The RSV-S Series Electrically Actuated Normally Closed Solenoid Valve is designed for use with fountains and reflecting pools in conjunction with RCOM Series electronic water makeup systems. The valve is installed on the incoming fresh water line to the pool. It opens upon electrical command allowing fresh water to enter the pool. The RSV-S Series is a 2-way direct-lift diaphragm type solenoid valve requiring zero pressure differential. The valve assembly consists of a machined brass body, an IP-65 water resistant solenoid coil housing with 1/2″ threaded conduit connection, a coil rated for 120 vac, 60Hz. @ 20 watts. The valve is pressure rated: vacuum to 150 PSI with operating temperature -5 to 80 degrees C. Valve condition is normally closed, energize-to-open. Available in four (4) sizes.
