Description These shields are designed with Bridgeport milling machines in mind, featuring a unique design and constructed of a tough high-impact poly-carbonate material. These shields create a barrier between the operator and all the sparks, shrapnel and debris milling creates. These shields are easily moved in and out of position for speedy tool and part swaps. These shields attach directly to existing head machine bolts, making for an extremely quick and easy installation. These shields are constructed of a high-impact poly-carbonate material. Attached to the bottom of these shields are a durable, flexible neoprene material to keep swarf and flying chips contained as the bed moves up and down. The front shield is mounted on a heavy-duty steel arm, allowing the shield to fit in the exact location, each time it is opened and closed. The arm is 29’ and features an adjustable knob for raising and lowering the shield. A rear shield is available for protecting the back area of the milling machine, this shield is just as easy to install and mounts directly to the machine frame with a setscrew to hold it in place.
