The capsule is made of perspex with a sterling silver bottom and top, including a mount ring and runner ring which allows the pendant to spin freely (great for fiddly types). The spider, guarding the stash of rough spiderweb jasper shards inside, is also made of silver, but is oxidised for a striking contrast with the capsule.
