This is due to the unique mix of 5 fabrics – Acrylic (68%), Nylon (21%), Wool (7%) Polyester (2%) and Polyurethane (2%). Wearing a traditional baselayer, normally made from 100% polyester, it takes time to warm up as it needs to seal your body heat in between your skin and the garment, creating a warm layer of air. Freedom of movement As well as being incredibly warm, you get incredible freedom of movement due to the patented knitting process and the mix of 5 fabrics. The Ultimate is unlike any other baselayer, in that it does not use compression as the main method of maintaining heat.
